Essie - Shine of the Times

Hello everyone.  I am a bad nail blogger.  I really need to post more.  I am sorry for the lack of posting. I will do better!

A couple months ago I was sent Essie Shine of the Times flakie by the amazing Arlyn.  I love this so much.  If you have a chance to grab it I highly suggest it.

I'm not sure exactly what category it falls under, I would say a topper?

Shine of the Times is from the Luxe Effects collection. It looks milky in the bottle in real life.  However as you can see above when light hits it is looks reddish.

I am wearing China Glaze Liquid Leather as undies.

As you can see once applied it has a multi-chromatic appearance. In some light it is red an in other light it is green.  In my opinion it looks kind of like fire.  I even had a point where it was a blueish color as well.  Like I said this polish is amazing and if you have a chance to get it you really should!

Let me know what you think.

I promise more posts!

Wes

  5. I love this one! I have Nubar 2010 which is pretty much the same thing. Try a matte topcoat over it if you have one, it takes it to a WHOLE 'NOTHA LEVEL :D

  7. Wes, you are NOT a bad blogger! You take a lot of nice photos, and I like how you aren't afraid to experiment with colour. You're true to yourself.

Quality will always win out over quantity. And your blog has quality, which makes you a good blogger. :) Please don't feel obligated to churn out more (unless you want to set a personal challenge and enjoy it)! :)

  8. I think this is my favourite mani of your, not just because it's a beautiful combo and that you made a great job of it, both these things are true, but my favourite part about it is that it reflects your personality so well. You don't see everything you get at first glance, and it shines in the right light like a beautiful star x x x
