12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #12 - Santa
That's all folks! Day #12 Santa...
First, I want to thank Kristine and Lorene for hosting this challenge, and for allowing me to join in. I had a lot of fun with it. You should check out their blogs:
Kristine: Pink and Polished Nails
Lorene: Over Polished
I also want to thank everyone for the positive comments, those have boosted my confidence in trying more nail art a bunch.
I told you in my post yesterday that I cheated and did elves and Santa together so you've already seen these nails.
Because of this challenge I will venture more into nail art. I have ordered striping tape and the Bundle Monster 2012 stamps. You'll see more I promise...

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #11 - Tinsel
And then there was 1...
Today is #11, Tinsel.
You know I didn't even know what tinsel was until I Googled it.
I've always known it as garland...
I know this is a nail art challenge, and when you see today's mani, I didn't put a lot of art into it. But I think I got the tinsel on a Christmas tree down...
The pics dark, because my phone is messed up and no matter how much light and flash I use it sucks.
I am wearing:
Finger Paints Avant Garde Green
Lac-Attack Forever Rydell
Zoya Electra
To me they look like a decorated Christmas tree with silver tinsel
I have gotten lots of comments about how festive it looked.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #10 - Elves
#10 Elves.....
Man only 2 days until Christmas, I hope everyone has a great day today and gets everything they hoped for. Me, I have to work tomorrow. But anyway, I have to say this is going to be a great Christmas, regardless of the gifts I get. I have been a little under the weather this weekend, and been thinking. I have already gotten a pretty amazing gift. I'm going to get a little sappy here....
Al of my new friends, have made me one of the happiest people around. All of you are so positive and supportive. From bottom of my heart, all of you have given me your friendship, and that means so much to me.
Today, 7 years ago I found out that my best friend had stage 4 cancer, and would be staying at a cancer treatment hospital about 400 miles away. That was the last time I talked to him, he had surgery and was in a chemical induced coma until 2/14/2006. He passed away the day before I was going to get to visit him. I don't think I ever got to tell my friend how much his friendship meant to me.
So I tell you all... Thank you for your friendship. I would mention each of you but I don't want to forget any of you.
I hope you all have an amazing Christmas.
Now on to the nails...
I know these are kind of bad... they are my elf nails and my Santa nails, so these will be posted for Tuesday as well. Im cheating a little...

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #9 - Wreath
Mani #9.
Sorry its so late. Wreath. Now I was at a loss for this one. I have no wreath stamp on my stamp discs. So I free handed this... I have really enjoyed doing this challenge, and look forward to more nail art because of it.
Fell free to laugh if you want, my mani is nothing compared to some of the others in this challenge.
Sorry for the bad pics, my iphone is messing up....
Only 3 manis left.....

Wow! Only 4 manis left in this challenge.
I'm not going to lie, I was at a loss for what to do with this mani. I just couldn't think of what to do. The last few manis in this challenge are all pretty hard. Stars are ornaments to right? On to the mani.....
I kind of obsessed with stamping....

Let me know what you think. Good, Bad, or Ugly.....

My pointer, middle and ring finger are BB Couture Anal Probe (well the shitter is full)
My pinky is Sinful Colors Snow Me White. (snow)
The dots were done using a dotting tool, and the color is Avon Golden vision.(for the 1000s of lights Clark put on the house)

Hello again.
Today is day # 4 of the 12 days of Christmas nail art challenge. I am really enjoying this. Yes I admit, I've gotten really upset with how terrible I have felt some of my manis have looked.
I want to thank each one of you that has given me positive feedback on them. It really means a lot that y'all say that I'm doing well.
Well on I finished my snow men a few days ago and I have been waiting impatiently to share this with you.
I AM SO PROUD of how these turned out. Yes, I still have room for improvement, but I think these are so awesome.

Sinful Colors Snow Me White
BB Couture Anal Probe (brown)

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #3 - Candy Cane
Hello everybody!
Today's mani is candy cane. First off let me say thank you to Kristine from Pink and Polished Nails and Lorene from Over Polished for putting this challenge together and for letting me join. I'm having fun with it.
Now, this mani was really hard to do (for me) even though it was originally going to be easy, at least I thought so. After starting this many I managed to mess up 3 nails within a few minutes. I spilled my Revlon Red nail polish everywhere, and then my camera started acting up. It pissed me off so bad.... To the point where I almost quit completely.
Without further ado, I apologize for the dark lines. My camera was being a turd:
I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Revlon Red.
I decided to continue with the chalenge, the only way I will get better is by trying more.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #2 - Holiday Song
Hey, it's that time again. Christmas Challenge mani # 2 - Holiday song.
I don't really listen to Christmas music because it's kind of cheesy, but my favorite Christmas song is Carol of the Bells.
Here is the best version of the song I've heard, by August Burns Red
Now, this mani seemed like it would turn out pretty good. I'm actually kind of proud how these turned out.
I used:
Essence A Piece of Forever from the Twilight collection
China Glaze Liquid Leather
Do these look like bells to you? What's your favorite Christmas song?

Joe Fresh - Evergreen
I really wish that Joe Fresh was a US company. I love their colors, they are so awesome. Today's color is Evergreen.
The formula is fantastic. This polish is very dark green with gold shimmer. I really really dig it. It is a Christmas color, that's why I saved it for so long. I like how easy it is to apply Joe Fresh the bottle are short and the short brush with the fat lid helps me paint nails better. I recommend that if you can get these do, they are very good polishes and very affordable. Now onto the fun stuff.
What's your favorite Christmas nail polish?

I'm a HOLO HERO
Hello again!
I have so many pics, so be prepared for multiple blog posts....
I am sure you all are fully aware of how much I LOVE HOLOS. I mean I am a self professed, holo whore and a man whore for holos.
I only have a few of these beauties, but I will have many more soon enough. This post is Gosh Holographic Hero. It is a silver linear holo. I love it so much. This is 2 coats, however 1 coat is opaque. I have a mental thing where I'm not done until I have 2 coats.
Pics don't do this justice, as to how amazing this is in real life. If you have the opportunity to get your hands on this nail polish. DO IT!
I am wearing Seche Vite topcoat.
Let me know what you think.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #1 - Christmas Tree
Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well! As you can see, I have joined a Nail art challenge. I think nail art is amazing and some of the bloggers I follow do an amazing job at it. All of the bloggers doing this challenge do amazing nail art.... Me not so much. I have good ideas but translated to my nails, I fail.
Today's challenge is Christmas Tree. Well I had this amazing idea, and then I started trying to translate it to my nail, and messed up immediately. Though I messed it up I did have fun trying.
So without further ado, I give you my first nail art disastercure for the challenge.
I am wearing Sinful Colors Snow me white, with Joe Fresh Evergreen and NYC Madison Avenue.
Please be gentle. I am a nail art noob of the highest order.

Joe Fresh kind of day
Hello Everyone! I'm a little behind on updating. Look forward to many updates the next few day.
The two colors above are from Joe Fresh. This is a Canadian company, so their polishes are not sold in the US. The red is called Sweet Tart, its a shimmery red that looks almost pink on my nails. This color is on my toes currently. ( Yes I'm going to post a pic of my feet. )
My feet are hideous, but I really dig how this color looks on my toes, and makes them a little more bearable to look at. The formula is really good and this is 2 coats, with a coat of Seche Vite, they shine and look almost Fuscia.
Not onto my fingers, Joe Fresh Bronze. I didn't think I would like the color, but man it is a sexy color.
As you can see it is a metallic color I really really dig it. This is 2 coats as well. Joe Fresh has a great formula, the only downfall to this polish is you can see the brush strokes in it. I can over look that because this color is so awesome.
If you have a chance to try Joe Fresh, you should.
Do y'all like bronze or shimmery red? Let me know that you think. I really like hearing from y'all!
Wes
