12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge #10 - Elves
#10 Elves.....
Man only 2 days until Christmas, I hope everyone has a great day today and gets everything they hoped for. Me, I have to work tomorrow. But anyway, I have to say this is going to be a great Christmas, regardless of the gifts I get. I have been a little under the weather this weekend, and been thinking. I have already gotten a pretty amazing gift. I'm going to get a little sappy here....
Al of my new friends, have made me one of the happiest people around. All of you are so positive and supportive. From bottom of my heart, all of you have given me your friendship, and that means so much to me.
Today, 7 years ago I found out that my best friend had stage 4 cancer, and would be staying at a cancer treatment hospital about 400 miles away. That was the last time I talked to him, he had surgery and was in a chemical induced coma until 2/14/2006. He passed away the day before I was going to get to visit him. I don't think I ever got to tell my friend how much his friendship meant to me.
So I tell you all... Thank you for your friendship. I would mention each of you but I don't want to forget any of you.
I hope you all have an amazing Christmas.
Now on to the nails...
I know these are kind of bad... they are my elf nails and my Santa nails, so these will be posted for Tuesday as well. Im cheating a little...

You are most welcome my friend! You are also brave for wearing nail polish in TX, kind to strange people, loyal to your friends, more talented than you realize, & cute in a cuddly polish wearing black bear kinda way. I'm thankful you're in my polish world! Luv U Wes! <3

DeleteI lost my sister to cancer 6 days before Christmas 3 years ago. After she moved only one state away, I never even visited until she was in icu the day before she passed. I completely understand how you feel. The genuine support of virtual strangers is more powerful than people realize. Have a very Merry Christmas.
